Using Supportive Care UK to provide OOH advice has worked really well. Staff have commented on how helpful the consultants have been, sometimes describing it as a mini teaching session, and we receive prompt feedback on advice given. I would have no hesitation in recommending the service.

SCUK has provided an exemplary out of hours service with clear and simple process to access the service. The advice given is evidence-based, provided by specialist palliative care consultants and in keeping with our current guidance.

Both Consultants provide excellent support and guidance for the Clinical Nurse Specialists. They are flexible around discussions and never rush the nurses during boardrounds. They encourage reflection and are happy to discuss any cases we bring to the meetings.
