All of our services are delivered by a national chamber of palliative medicine or acute oncology consultants, all GMC registered and on the specialist register, with substantive NHS contracts.
Consultant and Specialist Nurse Teams
The Christie Private Care (HCA Manchester)
Based at The Christie Private Care, our consultant and CNS team run HCA’s flagship palliative and supportive care service for private patients. There is a clinician available 24/7 to provide seamless support for patients and their families.
The Acute Oncology Team
We’ve brought together a team of acute oncology specialists with many years of experience, backed up with in-depth knowledge of the latest developments in their field.
Acute Oncology support
As the number of people with cancer continues to rise, more and more patients are being admitted to general hospitals with cancer-related emergencies.
But without an acute on-site oncologist, it can be hard for teams to feel confident that they’re providing the best care. We’ve designed a remote, consultant-led oncology service to help you fill that gap.
The Palliative Pharmacy Team
Our palliative pharmacy service provides a direct link to specialist consultant pharmacists, who can offer your clinicians expert advice to optimise medications and help ensure safe, cost-effective prescribing.
Business Team
Alongside our CEO and Nurse Director, the business team ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day at SCUK Headquarters. Our friendly team are available to help you and ensure our services are seamless, flexible and meet your needs.
